  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in high school.
  3. Must attend a high school in New Jersey.

Description: This multimedia contest is open to U.S. and international students who are enrolled at a high school in New Jersey. Students must submit a video, app, podcast, digital graphic design, webpage, or other multimedia component showing why wildlife is important to protect in New Jersey.

Application requirements for the Species on the Edge 2.0 Multimedia Contest are:

Additional Information: Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting New Jersey's rare wildlife species and the habitats they rely on for survival. This is accomplished through science, habitat restoration, and education.

Award Amount: Scholarship prizes are awarded as follows: first place, $1,000; second place, $500; third place, $250. Scholarships are non-renewable. All entries will also be eligible to win a drawing to spend a day in the field with a wildlife biologist.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $583.

Entry forms are available online on the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey website. Students must submit a video, app, podcast, digital graphic design, webpage, or other multimedia component showing why wildlife is important to protect in New Jersey. All entries must be in .pdf, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, or .avi format. Essays must be original. A works cited page should be included for citing resources. One entry is permitted per student/group. Entries must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
