In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current U.S. high school senior
  2. Must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  3. Must be planning to enter an accredited four-year university to pursue a degree

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Attorney Terry Bryant will be awarding his firm’s annual college scholarship to one high school senior in the nation. This scholarship gives students an opportunity to help fund their college education. To apply for the Terry Bryant College Scholarship, a student must submit a short video in response to the following prompt: If you had up to one minute with your younger self at the time you started high school, what advice would you give on how to stay safe on city streets – whether as a driver, passenger, cyclist, or pedestrian?

Application requirements for the Terry Bryant College Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Video response to prompt
Additional Information: Terry Bryant will choose a single winner with a team of judges representing the firm. To make their decision, the judges will weigh the video along with academic achievements and community and school activities. Presentations should not contain profanity or other inappropriate material. The decision of the judging team is final, and the winning applicant will be notified by telephone. The winning applicant will receive a $2,500 scholarship in the form of a single installment. Checks will be made out to the student and the university they plan to attend.

Award Amount: Chosen applicant will receive a one-time payment of $2,500  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
