In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. This award is for U.S. students and international students studying in the U.S.

Description: The Cyberbullying Awareness Scholarship is provided annually to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Resume
Additional Information: The Law Firm of McCready Garcia & Leet has established The Cyberbullying Awareness Scholarship to encourage students to think about ways that more people can work to prevent cyberbullying. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic achievements and the quality of the submitted essay.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions for The Cyberbullying Awareness Scholarship are available online at the website of McCready Garcia & Leet, P.C. To apply for this scholarship, students must submit the following items: an essay of approximately 750 words in length that discusses the roles that people can play in cuberbullying prevention and awareness; a recently updated resume; and transcripts for all academic coursework completed. All application materials must be submitted by email and sent to the provided address using the subject line "[Applicant's name] - The Cuberbullying Awareness Scholarship". Late and incomplete scholarship submissions will not be considered.
