Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must plan to attend the University of North Florida.
  3. Must be an incoming first-time-in-college freshman.
  4. Preference will be given to inner-city students in Florida.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Description: This award is available to U.S. high school seniors who are planning to attend the University of North Florida. All applicants must demonstrate financial need; preference will be given to inner-city residents of Florida.

Application requirements for the UNF Andrew A. Robinson Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • FAFSA
  • Application form
  • Resume
  • Interview (if requested)
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Financial need is determined by a student's campus cost of attendance minus the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as calculated from the FAFSA, and other aid received. Students may be required to schedule a scholarship interview. Such students will be provided with the date and time for the interview. Recipients of this award must live on campus. Current UNF students and transfer students are not eligible to apply.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, renewable for three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
