Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.7 or higher.
  5. Must plan to attend Aquinas College in Michigan.
  6. Must have demonstrated through work in his/her church, a sense of social responsibility, voluntaryism, and sensitivity to issues of peace and justice in the world today.
  7. Must plan to attend a college or university in Michigan.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors who have a grade point average of 2.7 or higher and are actively involved in their churches are eligible for this award. Students must plan to attend Aquinas College, a private, Catholic institution in Michigan.

  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: Recipients must demonstrate a sense of social responsibility, voluntaryism, and sensitivity to issues of peace and justice in the world today.

Award Amount: $10,000 to $15,000 annually, renewable for up to three years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.

Applications are available online from the Aquinas College website. There is not a separate application for this award. Each applicant will be considered upon admission. In addition to the completed admissions application, the student must submit official high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores. To be considered for scholarships, applicants must submit the FAFSA no later than March 1.
