Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, approximately one award offered each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must graduate from and eligible New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)-accredited high school.
  2. Must plan to enroll full time.
  3. Must be enrolled within fifteen months of the date of secondary school graduation.
  4. Must achieve a class rank of Valedictorian.
  5. This award is for U.S students.
  6. Must plan to attend Great Bay Community College (formerly NHCTC Stratham) in NH.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to New England high school students who graduate from an accredited NE high school and plan to attend Great Bay Community College. The student must be of Valedictorian status.

Application requirements for the Great Bay Community College New Hampshire Valedictorian Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Admission to GBCC
Additional Information: Scholarship will not be awarded until valedictorian status is confirmed by Great Bay Community College. Eligible New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)-accredited high schools include high schools from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusett,s New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Award Amount: Awards are for a one year full tuition scholarship at GBCC, valued at approximately $5,040 for a NH resident student, and approximately $7,560 for New England regional students.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,300.
