Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, ten awards were given.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must have been a resident of the state of Colorado for the past year.
  4. Must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must show evidence of community involvement.
  6. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to currently enrolled U.S. students who are Colorado residents with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, demonstrated financial need, and a history of community involvement and service.

Application requirements for the ICRME White Rose Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • Tax return
  • Community service verification
  • Citizenship/residency
Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in or plan to attend an institution of higher learning or an accredited technical or vocational school. Recipients are highly encouraged to attend the annual White Rose Gala. Three tickets will be provided at no cost to each recipient. Please note: Applicants are NOT required to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered in order to be eligible for an award.

Award Amount: Amounts range from $500 to $2,500 annually, non-renewable. Past scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Applications are available on the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire (ICRME) website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit the following: proof of Colorado residency; a copy of his/her current transcript; two letters of recommendation from people who know of his/her ability to be successful in his/her chosen field of study; a copy of his/her or his/her parent's/guardian's most recent tax return; and documentation of his/her commitment to community service. The student's name must appear on the top right corner of all submitted documents. Unmarked pages will not be considered. The student should not send a photograph, unless it is related to a project. The completed application and all supporting materials, plus two additional copies of all application materials, must be sent to the address provided in one package. The application packet must be postmarked on or before Jan. 18, and be received no later than Jan. 31.
