In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be enrolled in a vocational or technical school or program.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must be a resident of Oregon or Washington state.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.

Description: The Lenehan-Warn Technical Education Scholarship is provided annually for LGBT students and allies in Oregon or Washington state. Applicants must be attending an accredited technical school or program. Learn more and apply today!

Additional Information: Pride Foundation is able to offer a diversity of scholarships, which encourage students of different backgrounds and educational interests to apply. Most scholarships are available for straight ally or questioning students as well as student of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) parents. All promote leadership and diversity in the LGBT community.

Award Amount: The monetary award amount varies and is determined by the Pride Foundation. Generally, scholarships offered through the foundation are a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $10,000. The average award amount per recipient last year was $3,300. The award is offered annually and is non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,300.
