Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, all eligible students will be considered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Montana.
  2. Must be a National Merit Semi-Finalist Scholarship recipient.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must be a high school senior or older.
  5. Must plan to attend one of the following Montana University System campuses: The University of Montana-Missoula, Montana Tech of the University of Montana, the University of Montana-Western, the University of Montana-Helena College of Technology, Montana State University-Bozeman, Montana State University-Billings, Montana State University-Northern, Montana State University-Great Falls, Dawson Community College, Flathead Valley Community College or Miles Community College.

Description: This award is for Montana resident high school students who are planning to attend a Montana University System institution. The student must be recognized as a National Merit Semi-Finalist.

Award Amount: Awards are for a waiver of tuition cost through the first consecutive two semesters of enrollment at a Montana University System campus (valued at up to approximately $5,500 annually).  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,500.
