Award amounts range from $400 to $3,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years of undergraduate study. The total dollar amount of all state awards may not exceed the student's cost of attendance, as determined by his/her school's financial aid office, or $19,000, whichever is less.
Varies according to the amount of funds available and the number of eligible applicants.
All applicants are ranked by Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Awarding priority is given to renewal applicants and to new applicants with the lowest EFC. The EFC is determined based on the information provided on the FAFSA. The EA Grant may be held with all state awards except the Guaranteed Access Grant. If certain state scholarship awards are accepted, the student's EA Grant will be re-calculated. Funds may not be available to award all students.
