New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA)
Awards range from $1,500 to $2,500 annually, and may be renewed for up to three additional years. The student must maintain a 2.75 average overall in his/her freshman year, and a 3.0 overall average thereafter. A 3.0 average in accounting is required after the student has completed a minimum of two accounting courses.
The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, there were 15 scholarships awarded.
All finalists are required to interviewin early January at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. A photo ID is required at the time of the interview. There will be no make-up date.
