  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must pursue a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) major.
  3. Must belong to a historically underrepresented population/group such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university, or post-secondary institution in the 2023-24 academic year in pursuit of a bachelor's degree (4+1 degrees that lead to a masters would count as undergraduate for these purposes); pursue a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) major; and belong to a historically underrepresented population/group such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), members of the LGBTQ2+ community, people with disabilities, veterans, and first-generation college students.

Additional Information: The program is administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS), an independent company that specializes in managing sponsored educational assistance programs. Applicants must complete the online application process hosted by ISTS to be considered for an award. An independent selection committee will evaluate applications and select recipients considering: • Educational goals/Academic potential • Community service/Leadership through extracurricular activities and career ambitions • Essay content: Communication skills and personal statement

Award Amount: $1,500-$10,000 offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $200,000.
