State of Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board
Up to $2,250 annually, renewable for up to three additional years providing the recipient maintains full-time enrollment with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The number of awards offered varies annually.
Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to Wisconsin high school seniors who have the highest grade point average in each public and private high school throughout the state of Wisconsin. High schools with enrollments above 500 may award more than one scholarship. In the event of a tie, the high school should have a written policy stating the tie-breakers to be used, in the order in which they will be used. Typical tie breakers are ACT scores, or number of honors courses.
