That many of the students that go here are preppy and good-looking. Also, people say that students here like to party a lot. People generally regard C of C with respect in terms of the academics.

One stereotype about C of C students is that the students all come from rich backgrounds. Another sterotype is that the students are always at the beach, not in their classes. One last stereotype is the artsy-free spirit of the students; meaning: we are all highly interested in some aspect of art, whether it be shown by our choice of major, or in that we attend more local concerts, theatre shows, and mic-nights than the average student.

One big stereotype about CofC and its students is that we are just one big party school full of either hippies or rich preps.
