I grew up in Emporia and I didn't really think about the greatness of living in a college town until I applied for college. It very close to my parents which many college students need that as a requirement. Since I grew up here I already know the town. It is great!!!!
I think that as a small university, Emporia State University is a great facility that tends to make a great learning environment for its students. Life at Emporia State is pretty simple, fun, and full of activities. People at Emporia State are very friendly and kind and helpful. It's all just one big happy community!
I believe that Emporia State University as a really good college to attend for a four-year degree. It is not too expensive and there are more positives than negatives. It is a relatively diverse school where people of all different ethnicities are about to get an education. There are many international students who come here to receive an education and learn about how different this school is from their home country. Living on campus is not bad, but the cafeteria is commonly known to be bad and people try to avoid eating specific foods in order to avoid food poisoning. Campus police and security are always around to make sure that students are safe, and all students get the campus police's hotline in case they ever feel in danger or need the police for anything. The teachers are normally good teachers and they ensure that students are receiving a proper education. There are multiple types of fraternities and sororities available to students, along with many clubs and organizations that students can join. Campus involvement is very important at Emporia State University. The campus also makes sure that there are plenty of study areas so students have the proper environment to study for classes.
Emporia state university is a great university. Even tho i have been annoyed with the faculty it is an amazing place. the class size is perfect to where it is not huge. everyone is friendly and make friends so easily. There are a couple of professors that are amazing while there are some that will stop trying to help you after a while even though you definitely need the help.

Young Lester, you have been adequately prepared for the challenge of college life. Stay focused on the task at hand and go to class. Your study habits are good but if you aren't in class to take proper notes or to ask questions, you will struggle with completing your degree in 4 years. Before you know it, you will have real responsibilities and the goal of finishing your degree will continue to be pushed back until you look up years down the line feeling like there is unfinished business. You value education so don't lose your focus. Don't lose sight of what you started out to do. Use your time wisely, go to class and be the student that you know you are.
I think the schools focus on being green or eco-friendly is really too low. It has no effect on the students being here.
How great the teachers are. They really care about you and want to make sure that you are always on the right path. A lot of them will even give you thier numbers and tell you to call them anytime, for any reason. They are really their to help you with anything.
Emporia State Unverisity has an excellent learning environment and has a varity of opportunites.
Emporia State University is best known for two things. The first is having one of the most successful teaching programs in the United States. The second best known thing about Emporia State is that it has the most affordable Business school in the nation.
Actually it was an easy transition from high school into Emporia State. The people are really great which made it easy.
Any student that is wanting big city life or big school should probably look at other schools than Emporia.
The most frustrating thing about Emporia State is that the faculty isnt very involved outside of the classroom and most of the funding only goes to the Education Degrees.
The best thing about my school is the size and the people. ESU is not too big where you get lost in the crowd, but it's also not too little to where you come in contact with the same people all the time. Also the people I have met while attending this school have made a profound impact on my life. Never have I been allowed to connect with such a diverse group of people ithis strongly in such a short amount of time. Coming to this school gave me that opportunity.
I have yet to meet my classmates at this university. In my previous schools; I have thought of my classmates as intelligent and hardworking individuals.
Anyone who wants to learn.
It was a bit smaller than other schools I looked at, and not in a big city. However, it's 45 min-1 1/2 hours away from a lot of big cities. Also, it has a stronger teaching program than the other schools I considered.
