Sullivan university is a great college for students who are really diverse. It’s about achieving our accomplishments and distinguishing those accomplishments by doing what love to do. Even though culinary is a big thing for the school but there are other curricular activities within the school. This is what I like about Sullivan university.
Sullivan likes to focus on the academics, but they do it in a unique way. They are a more hands on, not traditional way of teaching, which I really adapt well to. They are a for profit, which is very apparent. If you do night classes, you do not get a break between semesters, unfortunately for people who have day jobs and children. Overall, I say it is a safe environment with a wide variety of people that works well with my schedule. That's good enough for me!

I love my school! The admissions office and the financial aid office are all about helping the incoming and returning students. When you are on campus you are always free to go in and talk to student services. I have had some really nice instructors that truly cared about the students.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Sullivan University is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
As a high school senior, I was not interested in going to college right away, and I went to work instead. If I could go back and talk to myself as a senior in high school, I would plead with myself to not wait until many years down the road to attend college. I would point out that in today's society, having a college degree is absolutely imperative in obtaining a good career. The longer you wait to further your education, means the longer you wait to better your life to today's standards. The transition into college, 10 years post high school has been very difficult, and most of what was learned in high school has passed me by. It is very important to go to college straight out of high school, and therefore, you will not have to play catch up on what you have already learned. Also, you will not be misplaced as being the older person in the class, with peers that are much younger and straight out of high school. If you do not wait, you are that much closer to getting that perfect job you've always dreamed of!
Great school with a strong morals and goals for the students.
My classmates are always actively listening and enganging in lectures.
It is ranked the third best school for culinary arts in the United States. They help you find a job after you graduate and list available jobs in the area while you are attending school. You can reatake any classes that you have previously taken tuition free for life. The class sizses are only about 30 people per class maximum. Anyone can come in of Friday, which no normal classes are scheduled, to make food in their labs or get extra help from his or her instructors.
I wish I would have known exactly what field I wanted to be in. I am eventually going to have to transfer schools to finish my education.
The financial aid department is very slow to respond to students. The student activites on campus often cost money or are not woth the time to go to.
Sullivan University is different from most universities. Sullivan is perfect for people who don't enjoy the general education part of school. It caters to students who want to have a career, who are focused on being happy and successful in their careers. I truely believe that Sullivan is made for people like me. Every aspect of my education is geared to prepare me for my career. This focus on the career and, inadvertantly, on the students future.
Anyone expecting the "Hollywood" representation of college life. The school is career focused and many leave in two years with an associates degree, while it is a good institution, its focus does not lend to broadening horizons as much as it teaches base skills and prepares one for their chosen career.
Students with a passion for fast-paced, hands-on learning who strive to improve their chosen field of interest, as well as their personal qualities, and who hold professionalism in high regard should attend this university.
The labs are crowded and it becomes difficult to maneuver around people and do the work that needs to be done. In the culinary labs, there will be approximately 8 groups, and each group will prepare a different item off of that day's menu, so not everyone will be able to prepare every dish. Not even close to it.
Sullivan University is accredited and has many wonderful programs, such as Computer Science, Pharmacy, and accounting. But, the best, in my opinion, and most well known program is the School of Hospitality, mainly the Culinary Arts Program. Sullivan sent a group to cater, not only the 2006 Winter Olypics, but, also, to the Vancouver Olympics. To say the Culinary Arts Program is well known is an understatement.
Someone who is very career oreinted. Someone who has goals for their future jobs and are very serious about attending college. The type of person that should attend should put forth the effort and focus on schooling. Someone who thinks it
