If you are not prepared to work hard and be focused on school this is not a school for you.

I believe that everyone would feel comfortable in this surrounding becuase it has a wide array of degree programs and I believe that it would suit anyone's needs. The city of Tucson is marvelous also. To me, at least, it feels like home and i hope that many people when looking at the school also feel that way. The only problem is people who are not adjusted to the heat because it gets to 100 degrees and many people believe that 90 degrees is flaming. Those who are not accustomed to the heat should find an alternative.

they type that shouldnt attend is no one. everyone should attend, whether or not you are shy or very out going you will have an amazing time. Yes, it does seem that more out going and active students attend but either personality, I know each inidivdual will have an amazing time!!!

If you want individual attention and small class sizes than the University of Arizona is probably not for you. Some of the classes, especially those during freshman year, can have over 100 students. Professors, however, can be contacted and are very good about meeting with you is you ask them. On the other hand, if you want the professor to know you without taking any extra effort than a large university such as this is probably not the best fit.

People who think that it is a party school and do not want to work hard or balance their schedules. There is a great balance of social and academic activities here, but you need to be able to balnce them in your own life.

The idea of being able to catergorize and label who should and should not go to this school, is not a question i can answer. Everyone should go to this school, everyone deserves a chance for higher education. This is a good school, with good teachers, and the people are friendly. Although one word of caution: if you cant stand the heat, well, just rent an apartment with a swimming pool.

Someone who is used to helpful people and knowing what is going on. Anyone who attends the U of A should be able to be completely dependent.

I believe in higher education. No matter what age a person might be, school is important. I believe our society would be better if, as a whole, we focused more on education. That is why I am going back to school to the University of Arizona to get my teaching degree. School can teach a person how to be diligent, to grow, and develop as an individual, if that person really applies themselves. If a person is not interested in growing and challenging themselves, then maybe this school is not for them.

A person who is solely interested in acedemics and wants a very competitive environment. Also someone who doesnt like temperatures above 80 degrees Farenheit.

This is kind of a silly question. In terms of the business school, though, don't bother applying if you are not fully committed to the program and education. Entrance into Eller requires the passing of a written test, an interview, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Anyone who is interested in attending a small school should not attend the University of Arizona.

Non-science majors should not attend this university.

The kind of person that should not attend this school would be one looking for a small, tight-knit University.

I was about to say anybody can attend this school, but I take that back. People who shouldn't attend this school are the party twenty four seven people. It's okay to have a good time, but when it proceeds to take over your studies, then obviously there is something that needs to change. Other than that, this school is for everybody who is serious about there future.

Any one should attent this school. There are so many option at the U of A academically that honestly anyone could come here and find the area of study that they want. The weather is perfect here year round so a lot of people from cold areas come here to get away too.

I think this school would be great for anybody, but I guess if I absolutely had to say, I would think that someone who is very, very serious about a very serious major would probably want to look elsewhere, because a lot of the student body here does not take schoolwork as serious as others might.

People who should not attend the University of Arizona include those who love to surf and do not like warm weather. Also, anyone who does not get along with other people and does not want to be active in school will not feel at home here. Anyone with a tendency toward violence, hatred, and intolerance should also stay away from this school, as it is meant to be a safe learning environment for everyone.

For the most part, I feel that this campus is very accomodating to everyone that comes here. I would say though that if someone was looking for smaller classrooms that would be the only downside for people here. While there are a lot of smaller classes, for the most part the classes are over one hundered and tend to have less focus on the student teacher relationship within each class.

If you enjoy drinking and partying and have a difficult time concentrating and getting your schoolwork done. DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. there is too much temptation if you do not have your head on your shoulders. Trust me, this school is excellent but it becomes very difficult to balance social life and your academics.

This school is not for the more "cut throat" student. As a class base, students don't find weakness in asking other students for help and there's never any shame in helping. Students can actually preceptor, or TA, a class while in it allowing them to help fellow students learn as they learn. This bridges the gap between student and professor a little more. So a student very self focused and self taught might find themselves out of water here.

Those who shouldn't attend the University of Arizona are people who are more serious about their social life than their academic responsibilities.

A person who is dependent on individualized attention and follow-up, or who wants each and every professor to remember your name, or cannot say 'no' to overcommitment or socializing is advised not to attend this school as it can be very big and impersonal.

If a person does not prefer warm weather or a desert enviroment, then they should not attend this school.

I feel that people who need a lot of one-on-one time with the teacher would not do well at this school. The teachers do not take the time to attend to the student's needs. Therefore, I have learned over the years, that you must teach yourself the material and not rely on the teachers for any help. Most of our classes are large lecture classes that would not be beneficial to someone who prefers small classes which would provide more interaction with the professors.

The kind of people that i believe that should attend are the people who are not ready to learn and be open to anything that comes their way.

Anyone with any personality should attend, we dont discrimanate.

People only looking to party. People not serious about school. People who are annoyed by school spirit.

Someone who is looking for the following should not attend this school: small school, cold climate, extremely small class size, religion-specific school, unsocial environment.

One who wants a very small learning environment.

A person who is absolutely committed and focused to his/her education and learning, who enjoys a smaller, more intimate environment, who is not interested in sports events or greek life, whose idea of a social life does not include excessive drinking and partying, who is more interested in discovering his/her personal identity in college

People who shouldn't attend this school are those who aren't sure yet what they want to do with their lives. They should wait and find out what they really want to do. Then when they finally get in they'll stick on their track and won't have to take any unneeded classes to reach their goals as well as they won't have to change their major many times which can get frustrating to students working so hard in their studies.

I don't think that anyone shouldn't join our school, because I think anyone can learn to achieve their goals.

Someone who is overwhelmed by a large campus community and looking for a small, quiet college experience. Students seeking a liberal arts focused education with small classes and lots of one-on-one time with professors are not well suited to this environment.

Someone who wants a small school setting should not attend this school. Also someone who does not like the desert should not attend this school.

Someone who gets distracted easily by drugs and alcohol. It is very easy to get swept up in the party atmosphere at this school and if you cannot control yourself you cannot succeed at this university.

someone who wants an amazing experience in a cool field. better off going to some little artsy college, because this is a party school.
