University of Central Florida Top Questions

I recommend The Universality of Central Florida to any student, or prospective student, who is looking to receive a top level education and is looking to interact with a wide variety of interesting people.

The kind of person who thinks that college is a party. College is not a party, it's an attempt by the individual to better themselves and the possibility of having a better future. If your not willing or ready to work hard and study in order to stay in college, then you shouldn't apply.

I believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to attend school, but if i had to choose for a person that shouldn't attend this school, it will be a person who will be lazy, underachiever, very anti-social, and a person that won't care about their future.

Anyone wanting to learn should attend this school.

Someone who is not driven, and who has no goals of achieving to be on ly the best.

A student not interested in using their degree upon graduation. And anyone who is not self motivated to succeed.

I don't think anyone shouldn't attend school. Its a personal choice and no one should have that taken away from them.

I dont believe there is any kind of person that wouldn't do well at UCF or should not attend UCF. UCF is appropriate for all different types of people.

Anyone who requires close attention or face time with professors. The University of Central Florida is among the top 3 schools nationwide concerning undergraduate population so it is difficult for those who prefer a relatively small or closed community.

There is not a type of person who should not attend any type of school, period. If you are determined and focused to further your own education and to try and make a better life for yourself, by attaining a degree in a certain field, then by all means go to a university or community college. No one should be denied the opportunity to attend a school. So, everyone is welcome at the university that I attend.

People that do not take education seriously should not attend UCF. The work load for students is strenuous, and the teachers demand high caliber performance. UCF students need to be able to separate work and play time in order to finish their work on time and still have time to have fun. UCF is all about setting priorities and following through.

The only people I would say shouldn't attend this school would be people that are not willing to work for their grades. Also, people who like small student body sizes would not want to attend the University of Central Florida.

For undergraduates, the only reason you shouldn't attend this school is if you are not pursuing a higher degree and you want your college degree to come from a more prestigious school. If you are planning to pursue a higher degree then it doesn't matter where you go as an undergraduate student. If you are a Masters or Ph.D. student, you should goto a school that has the research program that you are interested in and not just any school.

I wouldn't keep anyone from attending UCF, because nowadays a degree is so much more important in the real world. If someone is accepted into UCF, they should have every right to be there and try to make their dream come true. If they will fail their classes and end up dropping out, I still wouldn't take that chance away from them because they tried to succeed.

Someone who isn't willing to put in the work, time, or effort.

Being that UCF is a huge school, the type of person that shouldn't attend this school is someone that gets overwhelmed and frustrated easily. Parking is hard to find and classes are hard to locate.

Someone who doesn't wnat to put effort into their degree should probably not attend.

A person who doesn't do well with a large classroom size.

The only type of person that I think wouldn't enjoy the University of Cetral Florida is someone looking to attend a small school in a more rural community. UCF is in the heart of Orlando, FL and is home to 50,000 students. It is a very large campus with an even bigger community surrounding it.

Anyone who is not willing to work hard and put forth the utmost effort to succeed or anyone that wishes to bring harm to anyone here or themselves.

A person who is not dedicated to school. It requires a lot of input and your best performance.

UCF is so diverse, so there isn't really a person that shouldn't attend. We have every type of person one could imagine here, and everyone seems to fit in and get along on campus.

If you do not like being social do not come to this school because everyday their is something going on

I don't believe there is a single person who couldn't benefit from attending this school. The degrees offered range from education, to art, to science and information technology. There is definitely something for everyone here. I'm sure any attending student at UCF will agree the faculty are all helpful, the campus is large and beautiful, and there is always some form of entertainment or learning to keep you busy!

Everyone can attend this school! That's probably why it's one of the biggest universities in the country!

The kind of student that shouldn't attend this school is one who is not determined to do well or who isn't self-disciplined. Being that this is a huge University, this is very important. Students are often not able to get the individual attention needed in order to do well most of the time. A student at this school should manage time appropriately and put forth maximum effort in doing well in all their classes.

Students who are not focused on academics should not go to this school because the social scene and extracurriculars may distract them.

Well, if they dont offer a program your interested in, then don't go. However, UCF does offer countless programs.

As the third largest university by student population, everyone should attend UCF for it's outstanding educational and social aspects.

You shouldn't attend this school if you are not motivated to keep yourself going. There is a lot going on and the classes are typically very large. It takes a lot of self discipline to make it here.

Someone who does not care to try very hard should not go to UCF. While the classes are very reasonable, there are always people that fail the class due to a complete lack of trying. If someone signs up for a class they should at least put a little effort into passing the class.

People who need one-on-one attention or want to attend a more intimate campus should not attend UCF. I have found that most people who were unsatisfied here were not self-motivated to go and find information for themselves; they had issues going through the many channels that UCF has to faciliate as many students as they have. Also, people who only want to attend school with like-minded students may not enjoy the diversity that UCF offers.

A person who enjoys a more quiet, reserved school with little activity should not attend UCF.

A very conservative person, or someone who has no self control when it comes to balancing schoolwork and social life.

Any type of person can attend this school...there is something for everybody no matter what you are interested in. If there isn't anything you like then you can get some people together to form your own club and the Student Government Association will fund your club if it gets approved!!!

I think any one would like this school because it has something for everyone. It has a suburb feel yet anything you want is at your fingertips. Also the school is extremely diverse with clubs and organizations that would satisfy any interest.

Someone who is not ready for big crowds and socially inclined.

If you are a student who needs individual attention or prefers to be in a small classroom, then this might not be the place for you. The majority of professors are more than happy to help their students, but its the student's responsibility to seek out that help. There are many classes offered here that have a high number of students in them and it makes it all too easy to skip class. So, if you know you are more productive when working in a smaller and closer environment, you may want to look at a smaller school.

A person who should not attend this university is someone who likes small schools. This school is now the third largest by enrollement in the nation. The campus is huge and quite modern looking. If you were looking for an old school feel like Georgetown or Notre Dame, then this is not the place for you (although it is extremely nice). If you're looking for a small school that you won't see many people from your high school, this is not the place: this is one of the best schools in Florida, you'll know people.

People who need a place to live on campus.

A person who does not like large campuses should not attend the University of Central Florida. Also, a person who is not-driven. They should want to strive to be the best.
