My opinion of the University of Toledo may match my peers, but that's not necessarily a negative thing. The University of Toledo has great options for many people. For me, the luring factors is their campus life and environment, the music program, the classroom environment and academic priorities, and the sports and extracurricular involvement. This school looks and feels amazing! I'm excited to see where my future takes me, especially at a school like University of Toledo.
I do love the school, there is a lot to do and learn, and there is plenty of people to meet. In my personal experiences the campus is a safe place to be they work hard and do what they can to make sure you feel safe. But there have been some times that i have felt unsafe and have been given no help nor sympathy toward my issue from professors specifically, making it harder to go to the right people about the situation. There's everything you would find in any other school good professors not so good professors, and plenty of activities to experience and meet new people at. There's also tons of clubs and extracurriculars you can join to make your experience better.
My opinion of University of Toledo is very good I absolutely love this school they have something for everyone. Overall it is just a amazing school to attend. The teachers care very much about the students and will provide time to help them if it is needed.
I love UT! It is a beautiful campus and there is so much opportunity waiting! I love my classes and they make learning hands-on and enjoyable! There are so many groups and organizations to join, there really is something for everyone! I am so glad I chose to come to UT! I will really miss it when I graduate!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for University of Toledo is 94%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
Take a chance. Go somewhere that fits you, but be willing to take a stance and step outside of your comfort zone. Universities have so much to offer to the students who seek those chances. Faculty are really just good friends with lots of knowledge. Get involved, live on campus as long as you can. Don't depend on your car. And don't date someone from high school.. expand your network and watch the horizons grow... You just never know how small this world really is until you live it.
The classmates here at the University of Toledo are very friendly, and will treat new students well. If a student misses a class, others will help them out as long as you ask politely, and are not asking too much of the other student. However, in class and out of class can be different. Outside of the classroom setting it is somewhat difficult for someone to make friends. Most people come here with friends from their High Schools and tend to stick with the same friends. Other than that, the people here are great and it is a friendly place.

I transferred in to UT from another university. I have to say Toledo offers a large network around and outside of campus along with a large network of possibilities on campus. There is always something to do, you'll never be bored!
I like my dorm. I live in MacKinnon Hall, and it's the best experience I've had out of the 3 dorms I've lived in since I started here. The community is amazing and I love the people on my floor.
I would say if you don't have patience or you would like an extremely large college, then I would not suggest this school to you. This campus is a pretty nice size, but their are bigger schools out there for those who don't want to feel confined to smaller spaces. As for patience, I would say you need it if your going to deal with the financial system at the University of Toledo.
I wish I would have known that their Honors program with the psychology department was not worth all the work and tears put in. I wish I would have known that most psychology majors do not get accepted right away into graduate school and usually take jobs unrelated to their degree after graduating.
the worst thing about my school is the price of the books they are to high and a lot of people cant afford them
some one with money so they dont have to work, working, goodgrades, and a social life doesnt work here
I loved it.
The most frustrating thing is financial aid. It seems that they don't want to help you, and every response is different. If you plan to attend, make sure you have all of your questions written down and try to stay with one counselor to keep things straight.
University of Toledo is best known for their Pharmacy Program and diversity. It is a surprise I didn't join the pharmacy program because it is so big.
The actual size of UT’s student population seems to be just right. From class sizes to campus events, comfortable amounts of people are always present. I believe that there is somewhat of a negative image associated with UT because of the area surrounding it. The campus community, in my opinion, is completely different from the area around it, much like many other colleges. I wish that more of the Toledo community felt a bond with the campus, not just faculty and staff. To many members of the Toledo community, UT is viewed as just another business and sometimes as a completely separate city.
Most of my professors seem to know my name and I communicate with many of them on a daily basis. When it comes to the education of a student, the academic opportunities are endless. However, a student can only take advantage of these opportunities if they choose to do so, it will not happen on its own.
The greek community at UT is the largest grouping of organizations on campus. In most cases, fraternity and sorority members are often involved a good amount of other organizations and activities. I do wish that UT students would explore the city for social activities. Many students often stay within a few miles of UT looking for things to do when there is an entire city of activities surrounding the
Stereotypes can never be accurate when talking about a large group of people. Sure, there are students that fit that stereotype but there are also students that do not.
The one stereotype that comes to mind is the fact that we have a lot of diversity on campus. I believe this is because The University of Toledo contains such a broad range of majors and minors that attract a wide range of students. Also, since Toledo is such a big city, a lot of people think that it's just a commuter school.
The stereotype of the students at my school is that everyone is only here because they got money to come here or because they didn't get into another school. While there is some truth to be found here, it doesn't matter because your education at UT is what you make it and can be just as valuable at another state school in Ohio. If you work hard, you will succeed and UT has the potential to excel you into a valuable job market or a quality graduate school.
My first day on campus. I was amazed by the number of people I knew. Like I was not expecting to see friends that I already knew.
Fun, nothing but fun. There's a lot of sports activities and other activities to keep students active.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
