My overall opinion about Walsh University is that it's a prestigious institution that is academically great. The institution offers a lot of extracurricular activities to keep students involved and interested in the university. To reinforce what was said before, Walsh is a great institution but it is limited in ways that cause students to transfer to other universities.
I think Walsh's academics are their most important aspect. They're fairly rigorous, especially in the biological fields, and they are working to expand in both the hard science and soft science fields. I think most of their extracurriculars are kind of bland; they don't get too passionate about things. Definitely wouldn't call it a party school, that stuff only happens on the weekends and people don't get too wild. The professors, at least the ones I've had so far, are pretty available, but some push their own political agenda too much. I think it's a pretty school, it's nice that it's small, and they're working on developing their buildings. Love the Residence Life people, they're all so great.
Walsh University is a great school that offers an incredible atomsphere in which to grow and develop. The university is the perfect size in the you will not get lost and become just another number. It offers you the ability to really get to know your field of study and prepares you for the real world. It is a fantastic experience being a Walsh Cavalier.
I have enjoyed getting to know the campus since this is my first semester. Walsh tries very hard to make sure everyone does well after college and that we get all the real world experience we can. Each degree that is offered requires that each student do at least one internship that is through the school. Walsh is also into global learning, especially Rome because it is a Catholic university.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Walsh University is 77%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
In the past three years I feel that I have blossomed not only academically but artistically as well. I have been able to explore my interests in the field of psychology as well as to take courses in a range of areas. The majority of my professors have shown a great interest not only in their topic of study but in the students as well. I have become more confident in myself and my ability to perform in front of others and to handle difficult situations. Juggling school, work, sports, interpersonal relationships and extra-curricular activities has helped me to learn time management and to prioritize that which is most important to me. Walsh University also focuses on the importance of belief and helping others which I feel I will keep with me for the rest of my life. I have enjoyed my time at the University and hope to use my connections here to find a successful career once I graduate.
nothing. It is fine just the way it is. Everything is easy to access and the staff are much freindlier than other Christian schools
the food isnt that great and no big rec
The kind of person that should attend this school would be a student who is willing to stepout of their boxes to open up to new students. A student who is willing to work hard to achieve their goals, whether it is means working with others, getting involved and working with the faculty to improve their education. Also, a student that can be friendly and open-minded to work with different individuals. From my personally experience, I have realized working with the faculty in the School of Business has given my a new whole world of opportunities.
Walsh University is a private school with many opportunities to be appreciated and classes to be acknowledged.
My classmates are like second family to me. Our class sizes are relatively small, usually always less than 30, and we have all got to know each other over the past years because of our major. Some students are well rounded and have a variety of knowledge to share with others and some don't participate at all. There is rarely a happy medium between the two. On average, everyone strives to do well and cares about their grades.
Walsh University is very unique in its own way. It is very family and community orientated. Alot of the social life is held right on campus in our small town and is very open to anyone joining in. The professors here are very helpful and professional at their work. They are some of the best to learn from. The university really makes everyone feel as if they are apart of a family.
they offer accelerated course and you will still graduated with the same degree as a 4 year student
I do not find many things to be frustrating about Walsh. However, sometimes there are not enough computers in the library for student use. In addition, for students in other majors and sometimes in nursing, it seems as though they do not have to put a lot of effort into their studies and still manage to do well.
To my knowledge, my school is very high on the academic scale. The downfall is what I have to pay for it!
someone who doesnt have any respect for faith or catholic people
How amazing Walsh University's Nursing Program is and how helpful the nursing staff is.
The academics are carefully organized to make sure that you aren't overwhelmed just to be sure you do well in all of your classes. If any problems arise in a course your academic advisor will help you to boost your grade. We also have a tutoring program that supports all majors with all subjects. If you need help with anything just ask and someone will help you!
Walsh University is a school that gives you everything you need. Here at Walsh they give many opportunities such as anything from traveling abroad, internships, and community activities. Everyone here cares about your well being in your social and academic stance. Walsh is your no comfortable home!

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
99% of students attending Walsh University receive some sort of financial aid. 33% were awarded federal grants. While 77% received federal loans. Many students do also need to apply for additional private student loans.
