WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT APPLY HERE! I would RATHER spend 1 million dollars buying back my own cut toe nails then spend money here. The academics are THE WORST. The teachers DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They will fail you if they don't like you, if you don't agree with them, or if you go above them. I literally got KICKED OUT because i asked my internship coordinator what the salary is for different OT settings, I told one girl she is good with kids and asked if her and her husband have children, and asked a black lady her ethnicity/heritage in my internship. The learning center tried to get me on ADHD MEDS and ANXIETY MEDS and kept pushing it WHEN i said I don't feel comfortable with it. They used every info that I told them against me. They would rather collect their paycheck and fail kids. They failed 7 people out of 33. GOOD LUCK IF YOU WANT TO KISS BUTT AND FEEL HORRIBLE ABOUT YOURSELF.
Brenau University is a toxic school, and my three semesters there have left lasting scars. The student body is immensely sexist and toxic, addicted to drugs and alcohol, and underperforming in class. Some of the faculty is strong, but not enough so to justify the prohibitive cost. Stay away, far away.
I feel the Brenau University has a lot of opportunities for everyone there. I feel it does cost a lot of money to go and can be stressful having to worry about having to pay for it. I think the teachers at Brenau really do care for you and your academics but the cost is what hurts it.
Brenau is a great college. I love the fact that the professors and staff is always available daily. They respond to emails and phone calls when you need the teachers. They have wonderful staff in education department and financial aid as well. They are quick to help and guide me through certain activities and events. They text, call and email to check on you to make sure I am okay. They carry on conversations as if you are a part of their family. I love Brenau! I am a TIGER for life!

A college degree is something that will act as a pillar to keep people evolving. Since ups and downs in the corporate world are unavoidable, there will be times when people will need a back up to get through troubled times. Also, it makes life much easier just to have a college degree. Experience itself is good enough for a person to go to college since it plays a big part in the transformation process of a teenager turning into an adult. It is during this time students learn how serious and difficult life can be and how it is important to grow up. Also, experiencing the college life itself is great. The independence, friends, parties, classes, football games, night life, social scene, all of it is something that can be considered a once in a life time experience. It is the starting point of an adult life it is also the most precious time of a youngster. Most of the employers of the corporate world are looking for students with a college degree since employers are looking for students who have the ability to learn new things which is a necessity in order to work in the corporate world.
They are online.
I actually go to Gainesville State College in Watkinsville, Georgia, but that was not on the list. I love my school. The professors are so helpful, and I love the learning enviornment.
Busy mothers
It doesn't advertise may services/events to commuter and part-time students. The university tends to focus its attention on residental students.
It offers a good Nursing program. It offers a part-time and a full-time program for working students who want to pursue Nursing.
Brenau is a great school for those who are goal-oriented, optimtistic, and driven.
Nothing I believe I knew everything that I needed to know. Brenau was every good to help with all the questions I had.
The friendships that I have gained since I have been there. Greek women have the highest GPA's are most involved and are always visible.
super laid back LUMBERJACKS people that love the forest and being out doors some to this school there are always fun and exciting activities going on around the campus community some students are interpreted as "hippies" known for smoking pot and what not, but that is now the majority of college schools
Being an all womens university!!
If you are looking for a school that hosts parties 24/7, Brenau is not the place for you! We have fun at Brenau but we are no party school! And that's a good thing in my opinion.
distance from my home
It's full of nature, but I wish it wasn't so cold in the winter. The size is just right. I've spent most of my time on campus in the Lab Science building. There's lots of school pride. The athletic events are HUGE.
Science is generally hard. Liberal arts are easy. Just like everywhere else I know of! Professors have office hours and can always be reached by email.
Honors groups, Homecoming celebrations, BBQs, pre-game parties, etc.
Classes here aren't too difficult. If you put the effort in, then good out comes will be coming your way!!
They have a great Psychology program and that's my major. So far, I've had great success in this program and my adviser is always there when I have a question and to keep me on track.
There was a giant snow storm the last weekend of spring break this year and because of this they cancelled class starting back that Monday. I had been down in Mesa visiting family and when I got back Monday I quickly realized why they'd cancelled class and given us a snow day...then I thought they should've given us three! There was two feet of snow in most places (sometimes more) and you could barely travel anywhere. This campus always keeps things interesting.
There are so many types of dorms! Big ones, small ones, family ones, old ones, new, spacious, and modern ones. My biggest problems with dorm life: (1) Even if you get to pick your roommate (which is not always an option), if something should happen you're stuck with them for two semesters and (2) the dorms are closed for summer and winter, so if you're trying to complete your degree faster or if you get a great job up here you still get kicked out for a few months twice a year and then what?

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
