For me Houston Community College is and advantage for me in order to get my associates in science so I can be able to begin and attend to a university with some credits in order to be able to work in the workforce of my career that I want to be. It’s a campus with many benefit such as places to study, learn from many people of different diversity in one single place, and have the use of computers in the library in order to finish my work of the class. It has a great atmosphere in order to work with other students. The classes are small and have not much people either, it's better for students to pay attention. Students have the advantage to talk to their teachers in order to talk about their grade and how they can manage their way of studying in order to pass the course. Teachers give syllabus of the class so that the student have an idea what are the concepts that the teacher has and what you need to know in order to pass that course. The office and the overall campouses of HCC has given the chance to the students to participate on the class and later on they can drop out. The campus also makes a student ready before they go the big step and continue their career in a university. This college is public so that other people from other country can apply with it. Also some classes has encourage students to attend to clubs and for doing that they offer extra credit. They might not offer food but they do sure have events that they give free food, or food trucks that always come in order to sell delicious food. This school has made my eyes open since I’m high school student, having the benefit to attend a college way before other high schoolers graduate apply. If you are still not in college and you are looking for one, I suggest this college because it benefits you in any way, and all the teachers, librarians, and staffs that are in the campus will make you welcome and help you in any difficulties.

Houston Community College isn't the worst school you can find. A lot of people complain about it because it doesn't have as much prestige as the next school but for what you're paying, its worth it. I personally love the classes and the teachers care about the students, but it does depend on the outlook you have. I think it's pretty good 2-year college.

Houston Community College is an affordable government college. Their campuses are situated in strategic places around Houston. This enables the students to have lectures in any campus that is convenient to them. HCC lectures have flexible hours. You can adjust your lectures to suit your daily or weekly schedule. They have wonderful lecturers and a welcoming studying environment. I’m proud to be a student of HCC.

Houston Community College is a very good, affordable alternative to big universities. A lot of classes can be done online and you can find some very good professors here. The campuses are all located throughout the city and they have dual credit options as well.

It's a great community college to get your associates degree in, especially if you're planning on attending University of Houston. The academic advisers aren't as helpful as I would have liked but at the end of the day I graduated with an associates in science and was able to start my pre-COMD program right away! The professors I had there were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed my Creative Writing professors. I also took a few online courses and they were all smooth and painless and my professors were always quick with replying to emails about classwork. The three campuses I attended class at (Spring Branch, Katy, and Cinco Ranch) were nicely kept and had excellent computer labs and libraries. If you're not quite ready for the "big leagues" of higher education, HCC is a great stepping stone to get back into the grind of schoolwork. Or if you're simply looking to get a two-year degree, this college is definitely a great one. Nearly all of my credits were transferable, minus classes like remedial math, and the financial aid advisers were incredibly helpful throughout my two years there. Definitely a community college worth considering.
