Cedarville is a great university on a smaller campus with some nice hole in the wall shops nearby. The main campus is set around a lake which gives the university some nice views as well as a decent temperature during the spring. There is also a cat house; basically one of the professors leaves out food for some stray cats so they're are thirteen or so cats that chill out near campus and are pretty friendly. The courses are fun and they definitely push you to work hard and do your best and the professors are super supportive and are willing to lend a helping hand or critique when you need it. They are never overbearing and they want you to succeed.

Cedarville University is a fantastic college to consider when looking for high quality academics and a very involved student community. This private Baptist university is set on a gorgeous campus, built around a lake, and has easy walkable access to all facilities. Professors are very easy to deal with and are more than happy to help you with whatever struggles you may be having, both educational and personal. There is a great variety of D2 varsity sports and lots of intermural sports and clubs to join! Cedarville University is a great college to consider attending and I would recommend it to anyone, especially Christians looking for a good school!

I really like it, and will begin this August as a freshmen

Hannah - 12/31/2022

The moment I stepped onto the campus, I was welcomed and greeted by smiling faces. They made sure to mention they were happy I was there and were super helpful with directions. I was guided to a well organized table where I received a packet of information regarding the housing, activities, and campus life. I felt so welcomed and fell in love with the kind hearts of the people willing to answer any questions I had. The chapel service was surreal. The chapel building is beautiful and large and I could feel the Holy Spirit's presence as everyone in the room sang and worshipped God. The campus is beautiful and the facilities are very modern and nice. Everything is surrounding a lake which is a constant reminder of God's beauty in creation. The food was also fantastic and there are many options available, with easy seating. I was impressed with their cute coffee shops as well as I am a fan of coffee shops. Not only were the structures and facilities of this University nice, but also the people you meet. I stopped some current students and they weren't upset to make conversation with me but truly shared their love of God and the campus and were ready to answer any questions that came their way. Overall I love this campus and the people. Even the President of the school mingled among the students and stayed active at their nice gym. I was impressed with what this school is doing in students life and how it prepared them for the future. They have many opportunities for immersive and hands on job experience. If looking to attend or visit Cedarville, I encourage you to do so!

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Cedarville University is 69%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell them to start early and take their time. There are so many wonderful colleges and universities to attend. Take the time to go and visit these schools, to learn about the programs they offer. No one school is perfect, nor is any one school the same as another; each one offers something a little different than another one. So, take the time to get to know and understand what it is you like and dislike about each school. If you move to fast, you may wind up choosing a school that does not suit your needs or wants in an education and may very well regret your decision (plus losing all of the money that went into finalizing that decision). College is a great experience. Take the time to choose the one that suits you best.
