Arizona has a very big Greek life, which is especially evident in the early years when you're living on campus and not 21. A lot of students are from Phoenix and California, especially the Bay Area it seemed like. There were also a lot of people from out of state, including far away states such as NY. U of A has a big mix of people. I really think anyone could find a group to fit into and get closer with. It is a huge campus, but you really do see familiar faces all the time, and it doesn't feel as big as it is.
