The classrooms are usually small in nature, but for introductory courses you can find yourself in classes that sit 100 students, although this isn't always the case.
Read all 54 answers What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?
The worst thing about Pace is that the two campuses, New York and Pleasantville, are so far away from each other. While the location of the NY campus is better, the Pleasantville campus has the sports teams and I believe the sport aspect, being a fan and such, is something the NY campus doesn't provide.

Pace should be attended by those who truly are career driven. Students must make sure that they won't let the social aspects get in the way of their grades. People that should attend Pace should not be easily influenced by others, but should be able to listen and understand other people's opinions.

There's nothing that I wish I had known. I really can't complain about anything. I've had some great job opportunities because of Pace and I'm learning so much in regards to Gender's study that I didn't think I would ever learn.

Pace has amazing professors who know other professionals in their field. Whn you combine that with our small classrooms, you really get to know all the professors on an individual basis, which is great networking when you want an internship or need a job.
My freshman year, my counselor signed me up for an intro Latin American Studies class. I had two professors in this class who taught together, both of which I came to know very well. From there, my professor wrote me a reccommendation for a scholarship (which I recieved) and later for his next class (LAS 201) he set me up with an internship at The Consulate of Venezuela through a friend of his which was the Consul General.
This shows how amazing our professors are and how truly dedicated and involved they are in their students' lives. Pace is definitley geared toward getting the students careers after graduation,

The best thing about Pace is the location. The fact that it's in the Financial District allows for students to sight-see, eat at different places, get jobs/internships, and still be enrolled to the school.
Read all 26 answers What is your overall opinion of this school?
Pace is an extremely unique school, most students work at least one job or internship, and find a way to be active on campus. Although everyone is pretty busy preparing for their future, most students learn quickly how to manage their time efficiently and their grades do not drop.
We obviously do not have sports, but we all show our Pace Pride by showing up to all the theatre performances to cheer on our friends, or hanging out at our concerts (Kanye West, Gym Class Heroes, Ataris, to name a few) or Inside the Actors Studio with our friends.

Pace University does not have a very diverse ethinic group. The majority of the students are caucassian students, from rural towns and upbringing. Sometimes I feel displaced and out of sync with the students. Another issue that fustrates me is that students don't raise their hands enough in the class room. They appear to be dedicated to studying, yet no one in this school has enough life experience, or diversity, which makes the classes dull. The maturity level in the undergrad program is not completley there.
Read all 22 answers What is the stereotype of students at your school? Is this stereotype accurate?
The one thing I love about Pace is that there aren't many stereotypes within the student body. It is a very small, unique campus derived with students from so many diverse cultures. The only stereotypes I've stood witness to within my three years at Pace are within Greek Life. Each sorority and fraternity has their own "cliche" which has remained the same year after year.

I was instantly comfortable at Pace and it reminded me a lot of my home town because of the wild life on campus. It was an hour away so far enough to get away from everything and close enough that in the event of an emergency my family wasn't too far away. I liked that all of the people I met were nice and easy to talk to. I also appreciated the prestige of the school and how it would look on a job resume.
Read all 11 answers Describe the dorms.
The dorms are not the best, but I've seen worse. Maria's Towers is where most freshmen live, its right above the classrooms and its small with shared bathrooms, the only upside is you meet a lot of people quickly. There is also the option of John St., about a five minute walk from school and Clark and Henry St dorms in brooklyn, which are a short commute of ten minutes and newly updated. Fulton St dorms are the nicest and are the closest to school, but usually taken by seniors and juniors. By junior year most students get apartments because it is less of a hassle than dealing with Pace housing.
Read all 7 answers Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?
No, many Pace students have apartments in the same neighborhoods as the University and the dorms, but are still considered commuters because they do not live in Pace provided housing. Also, many students chose Pace over NYU because Pace provides better internship opportunites and a smaller classroom atmosphere.
