The campus is very much a tight knit community. There is always something to do, including a lot of volunteer opportunities. Security is also something that is great around campus. There are call/emergency boxes within eyesight of each other so you can run and slap one and keep going to the next so security can follow your trajectory if needed. I felt at home at my first visit.

The University of Tennessee Knoxville is a fantastic school. The professors and leaders of classes and the community are almost always around to engage and converse in constructive conversation. Merely the atmosphere and the daily interactions I come across simply make me feel good. With a limitless amount of opportunities at UT, I'm certain many great things will come out of this school in the near future.

Friendly atmosphere, always able to find things to do in my free time! Knoxville has a big sports culture, as well as, an outdoor culture. On occasions, you will have a large class size in an auditorium, but those are lectured classes, in most of your more classroom scenario it usually 20 students to 1 teacher. The faculty is also always willing to help and have very flexible office hours. Overall it is a really good school, and you will never find yourself not knowing what to do with your free time!

I think that The University of Tennessee-Knoxville is okay. The on campus housing is not very nice, they have uncovered a mold problem this year. The education is good if you do your research beforehand and use the app Rate My Professor. The University should provide more opportunities to get involved other than Greek life. It is very expensive; therefore, not all can afford to participate.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I think that the school is great if you are from the area and do not want to leave. I also think that the science and business schools are great, but for my arts and humanities focused major, the university is a little lacking. I would like to see the school focus more on different areas of study, such as the arts or media, and a little less on sports.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Loved it. The SEC vibe is so fun, living in a college town in the south near the mountains gives ample opportunity to explore city and back country life. 5 out of 5 stars across the board. My favorite thing was that even though it was a big school, over 20,000 students, there was always a fun club or group activity that gave the feeling and sense of community and home away from home.

I love my school! The atmosphere is so welcoming. Many people are involved in Greek life but you don't have to join in order to feel involved on campus. The teachers are great and so friendly. They always let you know their office hours and if they make any changes. I strongly agree that they are trying to help me succeed and present many opportunities for their kids. My dorm is spectacular and very new. My roommate and I control our own thermostat and have our own bathroom. People come and clean the bathroom once a week and replenish our toilet paper and trash bags, one less expense. RA's make you feel so welcome on campus and they are like the big sibling you need once you move away from home. They always have social activities planned at least twice a month to get you involved. Sometimes it's movie night and other times it is going to a fitness class. Overall, I love UT and can't wait to complete my college education here.

I absolutely love the University of Tennessee. I never got the chance to visit, but I didn't need to honestly, this school has such a great reputation. We are huge about sports here, even though we do look more forward to basketball than football. Being here at a Division 1 SEC school is such an amazing experience. I moved here from a small town in Michigan, I had never been to Tennessee, but I fell in love with Knoxville and this state. Knoxville is my home now.

I love going to college here. There are so many friendly people and opportunities to get involved, and they aren't hard to find. We love our Vols and gameday is a big deal for basketball or football, but academics are taken seriously and the library is always open and ready to be utilized. There is something on this campus for everyone no matter who you are.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is pretty great. The professors care about your grade and are always quick to respond. There are many stores available nearby if a student needs to purchase groceries and/or clothes and household items. The parking situation is quite awful, but that is expected at a large campus. They do allow you to take the bus (included in tuition), so if you are unable to find parking from main campus to the agricultural campus, you can still make it to class. The class change is a bit tight because they give you fifteen minutes to get to the next class, even though the campus is huge (especially for us agricultural majors). However, over all, the University of Tennessee tries really hard to make a great experience for each student and I highly recommend attending.
