University of Central Florida Top Questions

We don't have as much school spirit as other schools like UF or FSU because our football team isn't that great. Other than in stores near the school you can't really find UCF gear anywhere which is unfortunate.

Being a Florida school, UCF (as well as USF, Miami, and other Florida schools I would imagine) kind of lives in the shadow of UF. UCF is a good school, but "it is no UF" as people like to say...

The worst thing that I consider at my school is the big classes. Becuase is hard to communicate with your professor.

the school has 110 buildings that are very spread out so sometimes there's a lot of walking to do between classes, that's about it

A lot of classes are only offered online watching vidio streams with no student tp professor interaction.

The worst thing about my school is that they don't dispurse financial aid where it is needed. I am elegible for financial assistance, but I have not received any. I am working my way to pay my school tuition. I have two jobs at the moment and I am also a full time student. I am working hard to save for law school next year.

The worst thing about University of Central Florida is the community. I am not talking about each person individually, but as a whole. Friends and peers do not uplift or love each other to their fullest potential, thus creating a depressed, abussive, and one sided society. There is a serious depletion of values, morals, ethics, and principles on this campus and it is difficult for a single person, such as myself, to stand for something when persecution is everywhere.

Because the school is so big, parking is one of the worst aspects.

The worst thing about my school would have to be getting parking on campus. There is always chaos and stress when it comes to finding parking on campus. You literally have to wait around going from garage to garage looking for an opening. It has taken up to 40 minutes to look for a parking space.

There is not a lot of on-campus housing.

Don't offer enough class's in the summer to graduate then, have to plan out your 4year defree at the begining so you will take the classes you need when they are available

The worst thing about my school is the money factor. Between tuition and over five hundred dollars for books each semester, and just living (rent, food, phone bills, etc.) it is very hard to find enough loans and financial aid to be able to focus on my school work. Plus I have to work about twenty hour a week which takes up a lot of time and energy.

It is very hard to finish on time. Between finding classes and staying focused on school, there are a lot of ways to push back the graduation date.

The worst thing about UCF is that it has so many students, so sometimes it is hard to get help from teachers and advisors.

The class sizes are too big to feel noticed. This makes it alot harder to interact with the professors.

Meal plans, overpriced towers (parking/apt. $) on-campus apts., and parking.

The worst thing about my school would have to be the distance away from my hometown. I miss my friends, but UCF is such a great school that alot of times I just don't wan to leave.

Parking is rediculous.

The worst thing about my campus is the oldness of some of the buildings. Some of the elevators are ancient and feel like they could collapse at any moment.
