Chase - 08/23/2023

Extremely positive so far. All of the professors are extremely helpful and teach not just from textbooks but from experience as well making the learning environment one of the best I've ever been a part of. As for the student side of campus there is a reason that it is rated one of the highest student organization schools in the nation. There are plenty of ways to get yourself involved in clubs and organizations and really integrate yourself into not just the school but the community as well.

Vanessa - 08/04/2023

One of the main reasons I chose UCO was its affordability and proximity. UCO is a highly affordable university and the education is great. The second reason I chose UCO was the environment and the small campus. UCO was the first university tour my senior class and I took. I was enjoying myself throughout the tour, which is how I knew that it was a possibility I would attend. UCO has a smaller classroom size allows the professors to focus on the students better. The last thing that made me want to hear UCO was the diversity. UCO is a very diverse and open-minded campus.

Macy - 05/21/2022

I have enjoyed my first year at UCO. I was active in campus activities and successful in the classroom. I lived in the dorm and had no problems throughout the school year. I enjoyed having small class sizes and being able to get help from my professors. I would recommend it to prospective students.

Jayden - 12/19/2021

In the fall of 2020, I began my college experience and have felt at home the entire time. Because of this experience, I have thus been able to get an apprenticeship at a funeral home to gain a greater knowledge into my area of studies. 2020 was the year this started and hopefully this adventure will never end.

  3. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

The worst thing about the university that I attend is that it is a "commuter" college. Most of the students are people who already have families, or who do not wish to participate in college activities and live off campus. This makes the student activity number lower than it should be for how many students attend the University of Central Oklahoma.

At the University of Central Oklahoma you get the same eduaction, just a cheaper cost. At bigger University your class size consist of 150 to 200 people and the professors do not get to know each student indiviually unless they go up to the m after class.
