The University of South Alabama is a great school. It is home to students with many different cultures. The school has so much potential for growth. As a student I do not just feel like a number to the school. I feel like my teachers really care about me and if I am understanding the material being taught in class.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

University of South Alabama is a great school. The food could be better, but there aren't a lot of options for vegetarians or vegans like myself. The dorms are around a 15 minute walk to campus, which is not good if you're late to class or have early classes. If you are pre-med, pre-dental, or any type of pre-professional, South is a great school. There are many opportunities and clubs/societies at South perfect for pre-professionals. I have had great experiences with these clubs myself.

Overall the campus is pretty fun. The activities that we have on campus are always fun but we don't have enough campus involvement. The on-campus housing is pretty good and the maintenance crew works really quickly to fix any problem. The cafeteria is delicious most days and the staff is always extra friendly.

I think it's overall a amazing school. I've visited this school over six times before I made the decision to go to this school. I wanted to go here ever since the eighth grade with the educational talent search. Every time they said there going to South I jumped on the opportunity to go.

University of South Alabama is a good opportunity for students to come visit and look over the scenery of the college. You can start small at a community college and transfer. Just make sure your grades and credits required for the four year university meet their requirements. South is very helpful and more hands on with learning. You have the beach that's not too far away for a little vacation if needed. South Alabama will prepare you to reach your full potential and excel in a higher learning.

University of South Alabama is a GREAT school. There are so many programs and clubs to become apart of. The professors care and want you to succeed. It is close to the beach! Overall, I would recommend the university to any high school senior searching for colleges and to those who want to transfer from a community college.

University of South Alabama is all about academic and getting involve on campus. The professors at the school are always there to help inside and outside of class and they want to help you succeed in the class. South Alabama have different clubs and intramural sports fro students to join so there should be no way you should be involve. Even if none of the clubs was interesting to you, you could create your on club. I love the all the sporting events and all the students show school spirits at the games. Overall I love the campus and the people.

I am so glad that I choose the University of South Alabama. The campus has a tremendous of amount of academic programs to choose from. I never thought I would be interested in studying in a library, but the Marx Library at the University is so relaxing. The library is very user friendly, online access to books or information you may need. If you ever have to study for a long period of time. There is a Starbucks that is located in the library. The campus food here is not like any ordinary cafeteria food. There is a Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut, Quizznos subs, and a Burger Joint. Lets say you get burned out on eating the same ordinary pepperoni pizza there. They have a tons of restaurants like McDonalds, Mellow Mushroom, Chicken Salad Chick, to name a few. I love the fact that they promote health and fitness. The Recreation Center is to die for, and offer several activities for you to stay in shape. They have a gym of course, work out room, basketball court, track, a indoor pool, and a outdoor pool. Plenty of different activities that they host in the summer time at the outdoor pool. Onsite housing is very convenient for students that would live on campus; however, there are several off-site housing that they offer that are walking distance from the campus. If you ever thought about a college that is on the Gulf Coast. Consider the University of South Alabama on your list.

I absolute love this university. The sporting events are up and coming and always a blast. However the recreational sports are were the real competition is! I always feel safe walking around and they even offer rides all over campus on the Jagtran. There's plenty of Starbuck locations and even a fantastic chickfila.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

It's a good school if you're local, into Greek life, or are in the nursing program. Other than that, it's kind of hard to find a place to fit here. The academics and professors are great, and are very helpful, but I don't really consider it the full college experience.
