I love North Greenville University. I really enjoy my professors and love my English classes. I feel I have selected the right major for me and enjoy my major specific classes. I feel safe on campus and enjoy my room mate and my suite mates. My dorm is cozy.
North Greenville University is a beautiful school. Located in the mountains, the sunsets are beautiful. The professors are super accessible! This has been an enormous help for those difficult classes. The price to attend NGU is quite high, but as long as your GPA is above 3.0, there are some pretty sizable scholarships that the school will award you with.
i go there for Fuge Camps i love it and i love the food i love the university and a good place to go
I love being a part of NGU. I feel very connected with the campus, friends, professors and even the employees such as maintenance and the cafeteria workers. I have been able to get involved with a volunteer organization called Campus Ambassadors, which helps out the admissions department with tours and reaching out with prospective students. It has been so good for me as I know many faces on campus, and have a family within the department. I am thankful to be at NGU and look forward to another year.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for North Greenville University is 59%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would remind myself that what you do with your education in high school will effect the rest of your career. If you do not apply yourself in high school, you will have a rough time when you get to college. Also, learn your study habits now, its hard to buckel down when you get to college if you did not do it in high school, there is way more distractions in college.
North Greenville University is a friendly, Christian environment that lives up to it's mottos, "become a difference maker, " and "where Christ makes a difference."
Classmates at NGU are friendly and helpful.
That the college is not really open to other ideas based outside of the Southern Baptist beliefe. The university in itself is very conservative, they do however, have some liberal (ie Democratic club). You will be kicked out of the school for drinking and having sex and you will be counseled for smoking. They try to preserve their Christian hertiage, which is perfectly fine.
One of the best things about NGU is that the environment is laidback. In addition, the teachers are really helpful, friendly, and challenging.
i think that some one that is a driven person would do well here. Also some that puts a high value on morals.
Before arriving to the school I wish I knew the specific rules and how they enforce them with procedures. I also believed that my school was a little bigger in porportion, because I visited the school at night on my arrival.
Someone who is serious about learning and commited to their studies. Someone who wants to presue a solid relationship with the Lord.
The professors here really care about your well-being and they truly care about you and your personal life. I love that it is a small campus so I can get to know people easier.
This school has Christ centered and strives to make sure you become a stronger Christian as well as a stronger student. It is a little far from the nearest city. The view of the mountains is spectacular and breath-taking. The faculty and teachers of the school are always very friendly and encouraging. Drinking and smoking and having sexual relations outside of marriage are all not allowed at this school. They try to keep a good enviroment.
Being a Christian based school with high levels of education. We have good sports teams that reach out the community. We also are very globally interactive with mission trips year round.
The most frustrating thing about going to NGU is the dress code. Although the reasoning behind is extremely understandable, it is sometimes very hard to find shirts that have straps that are 3 inches wide.
Well, Academics is one thing that I would say is exemplary at North Greenville University. The courses are rigorous and the teachers are experienced.
Frisbee, Basketball, Flag football, and other intramural sports are common place on NGU campus. Playing ping pong and billiards in the stud at night, and driving to downtown Greenville. NGU campus is a suitcase campus, most kids here go home on the weekend. If you don't find friends the weekends can be pretty boring.
I do enjoy life at North Greenville University very much, but it definitely has it's down sides. There are just so many rules restricting you from what you can and cannot do. I don't feel like a college student. I feel like a high school student at summer camp.
Being a Christian based school, I feel like North Greenville University has a stereotype for housing 'foot-washing baptists' and 'Jesus Freaks'. Seeing that we are in the bible belt in Greenville, South Carolina this is true, but there is also a ton of diversity on campus. There are weed smokers. There are partiers. There are Fixed-Gear Bicycle Riders. It's just like a normal school.
