its a great school. I would recommend it.

Robert - 09/29/2020

Overall, It's a pretty good school. I finished two semesters there and 9 of my 10 professors were absolutely wonderful people I genuinely loved talking to. The social scene could be better at the University but overall its pretty alright still. I was in several clubs, both sports related and not. Made a lot of good friends, it was a blast. There is a huge selection of clubs and sports at Rowan. Academically, I have heard great things about several of the programs including engineering, music and writing. I should say, I have transferred out but it had nothing to do with Rowan, I simply had an opportunity and took it. I will never forget my 2 semesters at Rowan, it was glorious.

Gerald - 09/02/2020

I think Rowan University is awesome. It's very welcoming to all people and inside and outside of the classroom. The food court has lots of options and happy workers. All the students here always seem to be happy and welcoming of others. All the buildings on campus are new or updated. Most of the dorms are over 40 years old and need updating, but are suitable.

  6. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Construction creates problems in areas all over, but currently Rowan is under major construction. Traffic around campus is horrible, sounds of drills and trucks wake you up at all hours, and sometimes certain parts of campus are shut down due to it. I absolutely love Rowan so far but the ongoing construction is a huge nusance. Even though I understand that when it is done the university will be majorly improved, it is presently the one aspect I consider the worst thing about my school.

  9. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Before I came to Rowan University, I wish that I knew more about financial aid. Over the semesters I have attended at Rowan, I have been offered no financial aid because the government says my parents make too much money. This came as quite a shock to me because my parents struggle to keep up with bills at home, which often makes me wonder how much a person has to struggle to receive government assistance for school. I also wish I knew about the various amounts of scholarship opportunities available.
